Small, bit size, vegetarian treats are great as
an appetizer or snack.  Try adding onion or your other
favourite pizza topping.  Make them once,
then experiment and make this recipe your own
favourite dipping and popping vegetarian pizza bites.

  • Makes 24
  • Cooking time: 25 minutes
  • Preheat oven to 350 F

Ingredients:

1 c quinoa, cooked
1 egg
1/2 c mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 tsp garlic, minced
1 tbsp dried basil
1 tsp dried oregano
pinch of salt

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl, mix well
  2. Spoon 1 tablespoon of the batter into each muffin slot
  3. bake for 15 to 20 minutes
  4. Serve warm with tomato sauce for dipping
